Super Tube Canine Kidney Cell Line
Introduction
The super tube canine kidney cell line is an epithelial-like cell line established from kidney tissue of an adult female Cocker Spaniel through cloning of the MDCK cell line. It was developed to maintain high-density cell cultures and promote tubule formation.
OriCell™ Super Tube Canine Kidney Cell Line is primarily used as an in vitro model to investigate diseases associated with renal tubular dysfunction, such as polycystic kidney disease and renal fibrosis. It is also suitable for studying the role of the cAMP signaling pathway in tubule formation and epithelial cell function.
