GL261 Mouse Glioma Cell Line
Introduction
The GL261 mouse glioma cell line was established from a glioblastoma in C57BL/6 mice and is known for harboring TP53 and KRAS mutations. It is commonly used as a model for glioblastoma research. These cells have been reported to contract in the presence of 1 μM angiotensin II. Tumors are induced via intracranial injection of 3-methylcholanthrene and maintained through serial transplantation in syngeneic mice.
OriCell™ GL261 Mouse Glioma Cell Line is widely used in studies of glioblastoma pathogenesis, as well as in preclinical screening and evaluation of immunotherapeutic and radiotherapeutic agents. It is also used to investigate interactions between tumors and the gut microbiota.
