OriCell™ Penicillin-Streptomycin-Amphotericin B Solution (100X)

Introduction
OriCell™ Penicillin-Streptomycin-Amphotericin B Solution, also known as "Triple Antibiotic" (Pen/Strep/ AmB), is directly applicable to cell culture media to prevent microbial contamination. Penicillin primarily interferes with bacterial cell wall synthesis and is especially effective against Gram-positive bacteria. Streptomycin binds to the 30S subunit of bacterial ribosomes, inhibiting protein synthesis, and is effective against both Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria, with stronger activity against Gram-negative bacteria. Amphotericin B irreversibly binds to sterols in fungal cell membranes, forming transmembrane channels that disrupt membrane integrity, causing leakage of small intracellular molecules, thereby impairing fungal metabolism and inducing cell death.
OriCell™ Penicillin-Streptomycin-Amphotericin B Solution contains Penicillin G sodium salt at 10,000 U/mL, Streptomycin sulfate at 10 mg/mL, and Amphotericin B at 25 µg/mL. The recommended working concentrations in cell culture are 50–100 U/mL for penicillin, 0.05–0.1 mg/mL for streptomycin, and 0.25 µg/mL for amphotericin B. For use, dilute 1:100 by adding 1 mL of this solution to 99 mL of complete culture medium.
