Introduction
The STC-1 mouse intestinal endocrine cell line is an enteroendocrine cell line derived from intestinal tumors of double-transgenic mice. It was originally isolated in 1990 from the intestine of a 10–13-week-old tumor-bearing C57BL/6 mouse.
OriCell™ STC-1 Mouse Intestinal Endocrine Cell Line is widely used in research related to the mouse small intestine, such as studies investigating the digestion characteristics of oat protein isolates and the effects of their digestion products on cholecystokinin (CCK) secretion by STC-1 cells.
