YAC-1 Mouse Lymphoma Cell Line
Introduction
OriCell™ YAC-1 Mouse Lymphoma Cell Line is a murine lymphoma cell line induced by the Moloney Leukemia Virus (MLV) in newborn A/Sn mice. It exhibits lymphoblast-like morphology and grows primarily in suspension or semi-suspension, with minimal adherence. The cell line proliferates rapidly with a doubling time of approximately 12 to 24 hours, facilitating large-scale expansion for standardized assays.
Due to its high sensitivity to natural killer (NK) cell-mediated cytotoxicity, the YAC-1 cell line is widely used as a gold-standard target cell for murine NK cell activity assays. It serves as an essential tool in lymphoma-related research, including the pharmacological screening of chemotherapeutic agents and studies on the therapeutic effects of traditional medicines, such as Shijiaocao Kechuan tablets.
