SVEC4-10 Mouse Lymph Node Endothelial Cell Line
Introduction
SVEC4-10 Cell Line was derived from the axillary lymph node vascular endothelium of an adult male C3H/HeJ mouse and immortalized via SV40 transformation. The cell line stably expresses key endothelial markers, including Factor VIII-related antigen and VCAM. Characterized by a typical epithelial-like morphology, these cells grow in adherent culture and proliferate rapidly, enabling stable long-term passaging under basal culture conditions without the requirement for complex supplemental growth factors.
Beyond standard applications, SVEC4-10 is widely utilized in studies concerning mouse lymph node vascular/lymphatic endothelial behavior, immune and inflammatory interactions, and drug or toxicity assessments. For instance, it has proven to be an exceptional model in exploring the impact of sodium arsenite (NaAsO₂) exposure on the Nrf2 signaling pathway within endothelial cells.
As an immortalized cell line, OriCell™ SVEC4-10 Mouse Lymph Node Endothelial Cell Line not only retains essential biological functions of primary endothelial cells (such as LDL uptake, tube formation, and lymphocyte binding capacity), but also offers superior stability for continuous culture. It provides a highly reproducible and cost-effective model for vascular biology, immunology research, and sophisticated drug testing, making it widely applicable across various specialized fields.

General Handling Principles
- Maintain strict aseptic technique. Ensure complete sterility throughout all procedures, particularly within the laminar flow hood and incubator.
- Follow standardized protocols. Adhere strictly to the product manual. Implement rigorous control over experimental variables and include appropriate parallel controls.
- Use high-quality consumables and reagents. This product requires culture vessels suitable for adherent cell growth, and the reuse of these vessels is not recommended. The reagents used must be validated for reliability, cell compatibility, and batch-to-batch consistency.
Warm Notice: The cryopreservation medium of this product contains DMSO, which may pose potential risks. Please handle it with care.
