Introduction
OriCell™ 3T3-L1 Mouse Embryonic Fibroblast (Pre-Adipocyte) Cell Line is a continuous subclone derived from the 3T3 cell line (Swiss albino mouse) through clonal isolation. Upon reaching confluence and undergoing contact inhibition after rapid proliferation, 3T3-L1 cells differentiate from preadipocytes into adipocyte-like cells. Under high-serum culture conditions, these cells accumulate intracellular lipids. As a well-established model for adipose metabolism research, 3T3-L1 preadipocytes are widely used to study adipocyte proliferation and differentiation.
OriCell™ 3T3-L1 Mouse Embryonic Fibroblast (Pre-Adipocyte) Cell Line with LUC is generated by transduction of the parental cells with a recombinant lentiviral vector encoding the luciferase gene. This modification results in stable luciferase expression, enabling efficient cell tracking and visualization both in vitro and in vivo.
